Now that Satan, all of his fallen angels, and all of unsaved humanity have been cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, there is now only one thing left. God will now be giving the rest of saved humanity their final reward – the New Heaven and New Earth.
Believe it or not, this is actually going to be better than what we will get during the Millennium Kingdom. This will be our final abode and resting place with the Lord and something very awesome happens when we get this New Heaven and New Earth.
When we receive the 1000 year Millennium Kingdom, we get Jesus Himself literally coming down from heaven to rule our earth from the city of Jerusalem in Israel.
When we get the New Heaven and New Earth – we will now get God the Father Himself literally coming down from heaven to our New Earth to live and dwell with all of us forever and ever!
In other words, we will now have both God and Jesus living with all of us forever and ever in this New Heaven and New Earth!
Here are some of the things that will be happening in this New Heaven and New Earth:
1. Our earth as we know it now and our atmospheric heaven will pass away. In its place we will be getting a new earth and a new atmospheric heaven. There will no longer be any more seas. 2/3 of the earth is now water. With all of the sea waters being taken out, we will have more land space in which to accommodate everyone.
2. There will no longer be any more night. It will be daylight all the time. There will no longer be any sun or moon to shine their light. The Bible says that we will no longer have any need of the sun or the moon because the glory of God will now be illuminating the earth!
3. There will no longer be any more death in any way, shape, or form. The curse of Adam and Eve will have finally been broken and completely done away with. In the Millennium Kingdom, as good as it is going to be, there is still going to be physical death for those humans who survive the Tribulation and enter into it physically. Though many of them will live long lives, they are still going to have to physically die.
In addition to any kind of death being taken out, there will also be no more pain since we will all have brand new, glorified, spiritual bodies. The Bible says that all sorrow, pain, crying, and death will be fully taken away. Every tear will be wiped away.
There will be no more sickness or disease! Our new, glorified, spiritual bodies will no longer age, corrupt, die, or be subject to any kind of disease or illness ever again.
4. All things will be made brand new. I do not think our imaginations can even begin to conjure up or imagine what this verse is trying to tell us.
5. God the Father Himself will now be coming down to our earth to live and dwell with all of us forever and ever.
The Bible says that we will no longer need the temple that will be in Jerusalem in the Millennium Kingdom, as both God the Father and Jesus Christ will now be the Temple Themselves!
The Bible says that the tabernacle of God will now be with men, that we will dwell with Him, that we will be His people, and that He will be our God forever and ever.
6. In the Millennium Kingdom, Jesus will be ruling this entire earth from the city of Jerusalem. It will be God’s capital. However, in the New Heaven and New Earth, we will be getting a New Jerusalem.
The Bible says that this new holy city, which will be coming down direct from heaven itself, will be like a square. It’s length will be as great as its width. Bible Scholars feel that this city may literally be 1500 miles wide. It will be huge! This new city of Jerusalem will literally be descending down from Heaven itself and will be coming direct from God Himself.
The Bible says that its walls are constructed of jasper and the city will be pure gold like clear glass. It says that the foundations of the walls will be adorned with all kinds of precious stones – the first foundation being jasper, the second foundation being sapphire, the third foundation being chalcedony, and the fourth foundation being emerald, etc.
The Bible goes on to state that there are 12 of these foundations and that each foundation is made with a different beautiful element. This is all described in Revelation 21:19-20.
There will be 12 gates with each of the gates being made of solid pearl. The streets of this city will be pure gold. Each of the 12 gates will have an angel on it. There will be 3 gates each to the north, south, east, and west.
Since all of the bad and unsaved people will have already been taken out, there will be nothing left that will be able enter into this holy city that will defile it or cause any type of abomination to occur in it. As a result, the gates to this holy city will always be open.
Now here are the Scripture verses specifically telling us all of this.
The Scripture Verses
1. This first verse will tell us that our earth and heaven as we know it now will pass away, and in its place we will be getting a New Heaven and a New Earth. This verse also tells us that there will be no more seas on this new earth.
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had PASSED AWAY. Also there was no more sea.” (Revelation 21:1)
2. This next verse tells us that the tabernacle of God will be coming down from heaven onto this new earth and that God Himself will literally be dwelling with all of us. It says that He will be our God and that we will be His people.
This verse also tells us that God will be wiping away every tear, and that there will be no more death, sorrow, crying, or pain ever again. It then ends saying that all of the old and former things will now pass away, which will now make everything completely brand new!
And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God.
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying; and there shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” (Revelation 21:3-5)
3. This next verse tells us that there will be no more temple because God and Jesus will now be the temple Themselves. It also tells us that we will no longer have the sun or moon because God Himself will be illuminating the earth with His glory. And with God totally illuminating the earth with His glory, there will be no more night. The gates of the New Jerusalem will also be open to all of the nations.
“But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its Temple. And the city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it, and the Lamb its light.
And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it. Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there).
And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it. But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.” (Revelation 21: 22-27)
4. This next verse tells us that there will be no more Adamic curse and once again, states that there will be no more night. It says we shall be able to see at least the face of Jesus, and that we shall reign with God and Jesus forever and ever.
“And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. And there shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.” (Revelation 22:3-5)
5. Now here are the two specific verses about the city of New Jerusalem that will be coming down from heaven from God the Father and what it will be like.
“Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” (Revelation 21:2)
“And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God. And her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.
And she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of Israel: three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west.
Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. And he who talked with me had a gold reed to measure the city, its gates, and its wall. And the city is laid out as a square, and its length is as great as its breadth … And the construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass.
And the foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.
And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.” (Revelation 21:10-21).
Conclusion
As bad as things are going to get in the future, and possibly in the near future for all of us, each Christian has to keep their eyes on the final end.
We will first be getting 1000 years of perfect peace in the Millennium Kingdom that Jesus will be setting up with Him being the sole supreme King and Ruler of this earth. And then we will receive the final and ultimate end which will be the New Heaven and New Earth – where God the Father Himself will literally be coming down to live with all of us forever and ever.
This New Heaven and New Earth is going to be beyond anything that our imaginations can even begin to conjure up. The above Scripture verses only give us a partial vision and partial knowledge of what we are all going to end up with in this new heavenly environment.
One of the most amazing things about the Bible is all of the knowledge and information that is contained in it telling us exactly what is in store for all of us in the future. When you put all of these verses together like you would pieces to a jigsaw puzzle, the knowledge and revelation comes through loud and clear.
God the Father is telling us exactly what He has in store for all of us in the future so we can all properly prepare ourselves to receive it.
I will end this series of articles on this subject with one last thought:
Things are going to get bad, and I mean really bad in the coming years!
The Bible is telling us exactly what is going to happen and why it is going to happen.
But to each of you whose hands this series ofend times articlesmay fall into, just remember one thing – God will win in the end, and the Millennium Kingdom and the New Heaven and New Earth will be the final reward for all of you who hold fast to your faith in the Lord during these very trying times.
Keep your eyes on this final and glorious end with the New Heaven and New Earth.
It will help keep you from being overcome by any major fears if we start to enter into these end time events. Jesus has already told us in the Book of Revelation that those who are the overcomers in this life will be the ones to rule the nations of the world with Him in these coming eras.
Do not ever lose sight of this fact if all of these end time events end up occurring in our lifetime.

Please help me understand what will happened to those saved people who died before and during the 7 year tribulation. Will they stay in the Hell together with the unsaved once until the 1000 Millenium Kingdom ends and get ressurected on the White Throne Judgement? Or will they be ressurected and stay with Jesus on 1000 Millenium Kingdom? Thank you!
In reading scripture the sea…is referred alot to people/flesh. Our new heavily bodies will be spirit and no longer flesh. Flesh has nothing to do with God. God used the moon and the sun to guide us in this journey. When i look at that i think about the moon and sun being people. KInd of like Joseph and his dream. He describes his brothers as stars and his parents as the sun and moon. Interesting! We will no longer need flesh filled with Gods knowledge to guide us. For we will have all the knowledge needed and provided by our GOD! He will be reigning and ruling from within us. Those who do not chose him will not have his spirit reigning in them. He is LIFE..and without LIFE they will be no more.

Those saved people who died before and during the great tribulation will be included in the rapture, which will happen at the return of Jesus to the Earth, immediately following the great tribulation.
1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17 says “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”
This is all such a lot of bulls**t. If God loved everyone so much, he would not allow all the suffering in the world of everyone innocent of crime, all the poverty, the wars, all the illness. I have just had 3 of my family members diagnosed with cancer in the last 3 months. They are going through tremendous times. Think I might have it too – and too scared to find out. I would not do that to my “children”. Why does he/she (God)? No way is that a good caring God. And don’t get me wrong, I really believe there is a God, because something must’ve created us. But golly gosh, he/she is cruel – to do that to your “children”. That’s gotta be extra BAD. And what is there in the “afterlife” anyway. We would not even have a body, or earthly things, so what is the big deal? What do souls do all day long anyway – do we just float around in the atmosphere/space/wherever – doing what? No body, no home – no family, no TV – no anything. Just to much to believe! Rather be it, that we just die and that’s the end of us. I was brought up Christian, but sadly, it just evades me now. But there is a God, that’s for sure, and a very cruel one to boot. So thank you God, for nothing that you promised your all your children. If you would like to redeem yourself, please could you heal all the sick in our family. That’s all I ask from you. Then I might believe in you again like I did when I was younger.

A lot of people have the same feeling as you, some verbalize them and some don’t but God knows the hearts of everyone and He is glad to hear from us. When you were a little girl and believed in God and trusted Him it was the faith that He had given you to do that. Now that you are older you must have that same simple child-like faith to believe God is going to do everything He promised us. Adam and Eve our parents disobeyed God and so they passed their DNA to us their children. They died spiritually because they separated themselves from God. So just as Adam died we his children died spiritually also. Sin is what separates us from God and because of sin this is what brings on all the problems we face in the world today. There was only one way that God could save us and bring us back to life by sending his only Son, Jesus to die on the cross for us. Before Jesus got to the cross he went through everything and more that we could ever go through. He was mocked, scorned, abused, humiliated, whipped, spit on and you name it. Why? Because He loved us so much He wants us to share in the joy of the Millennial Kingdom and the New Heaven and New Earth. We can be healed physically and still be dead spiritually. We have two choices, to line up with God’s agenda or try to live by our own agenda which will be DOA (dead on arrival) I pray that the Holy Spirit will soothe your doubts and calm your fears.

In the beginning, God created all things (mankind and the environment) good. However, mankind was given a will to decide/choose their actions – Obedience & blessings OR Disobedience & death.
Sadly Adam & Eve chose the latter and so death fall upon all mankind. The earth and all in it was cursed – bringing death and diseases, etc upon all life including mankind.
God still love His creation, mankind and made a way (a redeemer, Jesus Christ His sinless Son) for them to be restored to Himself back to the original perfect state with evil (Satan) totally destroyed, so that mankind can live forever in the presence of God once again. Meanwhile our corrupted bodies will face sufferings and eventual death.
The bible tells us all these. It is our choice (like in the beginning with Adam & Eve) to accept His salvation for ‘restoration’ or to continue towards eternal death.
Please accept His offer of salvation and pray for God’s mercy concerning your family’s illness. Whatever the outcome, at least you and your family will be restored into the presence of God for eternity.
I believe God can heal as it has happened in my family (cancer) 3 times in the past 30 years and we are still well.

I suggest the rapture fits better pre-trib. All who don’t take the mark of the beast are killed. They accept Christ rather than worship the beast.

This is not true. The Bible clearly states that unbelievers will be judged and thrown into a pit of fire after the Great White Throne Judgement, along with Satan. Believers’ names will be written in the Book of Life, and thus they will not be thrown into the lake of fire. This lake of fire is Hell, the eternal destination for those who are not saved through the blood of Christ. Hell does not exist today, (and if it does nobody lives in it, not a lost soul, not the devil and his demons). It will be created/filled during this Judgement. I don’t know where unbelievers currently go, though the Bible suggests they go to Sheol, or Hades, which perhaps are like Hell, or perhaps more like a waiting room, or perhaps they are in a type of soul sleep…I don’t know. Regardless, despite Hell not existing at the moment, Heaven does exist, and the Bible states “absent from the body, present with the Lord” so I do believe that our souls go to Heaven when we die. Just like Sheol, Heaven is a place for souls, not bodies, and our bodies will stay down here on Earth. They will be ressurrected in the Rapture, (while I do not neccesarily believe in a pre-trib rapture, I do believe that there will be one, and I will trust God whether it is before, after, or in the middle of the Tribulation, because different Bible verses point to different times, and may be reffering to different things). Though believers will go to Heaven when we die, it will not be our eternal dwelling place. The New Heavens and New Earth which God creates after the Tribulation and Millenium will be our eternal dwelling place. I know it’s complicated, but just like there’s alot to learn about History, so there is a lot to learn about prophecy, which is History written before it happens. While this is my understanding of these things at the time, feel free to read and study the Bible for yourself, and ask God to show you understanding.

S., My KJV Bible says Hell was created (was) for the devil and His Angels, then when Adam and Eve sinned, it opens the gated to Hell for everyone who does not accept Jesus Christ as their lord and Savior. At the Rapture we who are alive will have our bodies change from a physical body into a spiritual body. The dead in Christ will rise first and they will be reunited with their earthly bodies, because their Souls come down with Christ at the Rapture and then they will be change into a Spiritual body and then we will all meet Christ in the air and go through the Judgement seat of Christ to be Judged for what we did or did not do for Christ after we were Saved, which some will get crowns and rewards and some will have theirs burned up but they will not lose their Salvation.

Yes! You will still be his mother and he will still know you as his mother but there will not be the feeling of “he belongs to you” or “you belong to him” because we will all be one in Christ. The feeling of possession will no longer exist.

Actually when we die (as a believer or non-believer) we are refered to as naked or without a body, and we are in a unconscious slumber where there is no concept of time sort of like when you sleep a deep dreamless sleep and wake up 8 hours later not realizing 8 hours just passed. It is as if we are nonexistant, and then we awaken with no concept of a log time having gone by. This is why when people die in the Bible they sometimes refer to it as sleep, or sleeping in the Lord etc. But when Jesus returns the second time those who are dead in Christ are raised and become conscious again, and meet him in the air as do living believers who never tasted death. He then takes them all with him to heaven and the many mansions prepared for them. There is a verse that speaks of Christ returning with ten thousands of his saints. This might be refering to Jesus returning to earth(a third time) with his saints after the 1000 years. First he brings them with him to heaven, and then they all return 1000 years later because during the 1000 years the earth is a unstable place, hills and mountains moving, no sunlight, dead bodies everywhere, destroyed cities everywhere, because when Christ appeared the first time the brightness of his sppearing destroyed every nonebeliever, and they live not again until after the 1000 years. When he returns the third time (1000 years later) he touches Mount Olives, and New Jerusalem descends, and then satan is let loosed and the wicked are resurrected (second resurrection – remember it says the wicked lived not again until the thousand years were finished). So the resurrected beast and false prophet, and all the wicked resurrected nations, are gathered by satan and they surround the beloved city where Jesus and the saints are. But then fire from God destroys them. Satan is no longer there to cast his hyponotic spell, and a new heaven and new earth is revealed which always was but was hidden behind the virtual matrix reality produced by satan’s hypnotic spell mind trap. Things are seen clearly now, no longer dimely or distorted. In any case, this is only one way to interpret all this, but I am not sure if it is the correct interpretation. For example, Jesus told the dying thief he would be with him in paradise that day, which does not sound like a unconscious sleep. And when Jesus was resurrected it said many graves opened and the people came ou of their graves,t and greeted many. What’s with that? And there are other verses both for an agianst etc. Also what many Christian’s describe as the peaceful 1000 year reign sounds like the false peace and safety described in Zehchariah before sudden destruction comes. It also seems like anti christ (the beast who was and in not, but is) comes from th sky perhaps in a ufo fleet – the ancient god’s of old return, and bring us into slavery once again, but this time more deceptive than ever and more cunning than ever, so that people will think it is Jesus. But only the real Jesus will be able to put a stop to all this, and save all who call upon his name.
I believe Revelation 21:3-5 and 21:22-27 and 22:3-5 as stated above perfectly shows that BOTH God the Father and Jesus Christ will be dwelling down here with us in the New Heaven and New Earth.

I do believe they will…when the earth was perfect in the time of Adam and Eve before sin entered in it tells us that God walked with Adam and Eve in the Garden…after they sinned when they heard Him walking in the Garden in the cool of the day and they hid.

a bit of changing from what was really intended.
A comma placed in the wrong place. The thief was not to
be with Christ that day, but yet to come when Christ returns
in the air to gather His elect. Note:
“And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, (comma)
Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.” Luke 23: 43
Whereas commas were not used in the original script and only
inserted when others later translated the Word.
It should read:
“And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee today,
shalt thou be with me in paradise.”
Jesus already granted the man forgiveness and salvation. Amen
To be given salvation on that particular day was indeed
a very special saving grace, even as Christ was in agony and

In Isaiah 65 there’s a section talking about a new heaven and a new earth. But there’s one confusing verse: Isa 65:20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
How can there be sinners in the new earth???

Verses 20-25 may be referring to the reign of Christ on earth because sin and death have not yet been finally destroyed.

First the tribulation period of seven years, three and one half years of that being the Great Tribulation. There is a Millennial period of a thousand years and then the very best, the New Jerusalem forever.
There is so much more the Millennium doesn’t last a thousand years it only last 40 years how do we know that? The bible was written to the ancient eastern world under the pretext of Hebrew. Do not try to interpret the bible under a 21st century understanding. Go back to the original. Learn from history and don’t make the same mistake.
1. No one goes to heaven. The teaching of a spirit being living inside or man is not biblical. Its Greek, from Plato.
2. The bible talks about certain events such as resurrection, god’s physical kingdom, millenial reign, and a new heavens and earth.
3. Do not assume conclusions based on English translations. The bible uses apocalyptic language, but does not imply literal destruction. Don’t read the bible like a fear based robot, but like a relationship. Don’t get so uptight with things.
4. Jesus will return and upon his return he will do 2 things. He’ll bring forth ressurection of all of those who died in him and a transformation of all of those who are currently alive in him. There isn’t a rapture because man doesn’t have a 2nd entity living in them, among many other reasons.
5. After #4 he will set up the 2 thing which is God’s kingdom. It’s really going to blossom and grow exponentially in all areas of life. Those in christ will be seated in power and the world will become a theocracy once again. Best picture I can give you is like jedi in star wars the expanded universe where they were leaders of society. The OT prophets talked heavily about the kingdom.
6. After all enemies are defeated, not just referring to literal problems, but metaphysical like death, jealousy, anger, fears, etc, Jesus will hand the kingdom over to God and he will make a new heaven and a new earth. This does not mean he will destroy what’s here
You are implying the Revelation given to John was written in Hebrew. John was writing to the churches and writing about the visions given him concerning the end. Speaking to the churches, in the first century, with a composition of greeks, jews, pagans, etc. he would not have written in Hebrew. More likely greek or aramaic. This was a manuscript for all “who have an ear to hear”. I have to agree with your first paragraph about context and the time in which it was written. Everything else is really flawed and in error about the rest of your comment. In fact, I would have to say you have little or no understanding of anything “biblical”. There are so many references to “spirit” and the spirit of men within both old and new testaments that destroys any credibility to the remainder of your comment. Seriously, Star Wars references? And Jesus, our Messiah, our Savior, made many references to heaven and the kingdom of God that gives us our hope. Not sure what you actually read but it is not scriptures. To be honest with you, the denial of spirit within you or any man or woman, denies our completeness of being created in the image of God. What’s the point of your view when it denies the hope of our regeneration of our spirits? It actually reminds me more of the doctrine of Pinky and the Brain than the prevalent hope and message contained within the gospel of Jesus Christ. Your thoughts on “the New Heaven and New Earth” are so unbiblical I really think you’re making a joke of the precious Word of God. And please keep this in mind — there is accountability when you endeavor to lead any of His dear children astray. I highly recommend you read the 18th chapter of Matthew to understand Jesus’ teachings on what you are bringing others to believe. Pay attention to the “millstone” and the “woes” He declares on such a teaching from you.
He will be ruling and reigning within us. For now we must allow him to purge, purify and refine us in spirit, soul and body while being obedient in spirit, soul and body though self-control, love, joy, peace patience and so on. We suffer until we come to the end of the lie of sin itself and then we become one of his saved with his new name that you and I only have a share in. At the end of the day, the one who matters is our Lord Jesus Christ, the son of God, the son of David and we must submit to him regardless of name in order to come out of the fire and into his Kingdom of heaven and earth.
Jennifer, it’s not God doing all those bad things, is satan. He hates God and us. He is doing everything he can to keep us from being saved. We bring illnesses like cancer and other autoimmune diseases onto ourselves. He does not operate where fear and unbelief exists. Scripture says Jesus could not heal a whole village for unbelief. Her could only heal the little girl after her father repented and had faith. It’s the same even today. We need to repent and have faith to have or prayers answered.

Flesh and Blood will be decayed.
I believe every event will happen and don’t at all doubt anything the infallible word of God says’ for this is our last hope of our glorified bodies.

I don’t know if I will ever receive a response, from this website, however I still want to ask my question. I am a believer, a Christ follower, and I understand about Christ’s second coming WITH his saints, which would you and me, amongst many others. So we will be living back on earth in our glorified bodies, along with others who also accepted Jesus during the tribulation.
So my question is, what happens to us, in our glorified bodies, on earth, after the 1,000 yr. Reign of Christ and after Satan is released from hell one last time?. After the millennium, in our glorified bodies, do we go back up to the “old heaven” once again, because the new earth and new heaven is not available yet, right? I really would like to know, if Satan and his demons will beable to have an affect on us then? Because, If we came DOWN to earth With Christ in the second coming, right? Do we just stay on earth while Satan terrorizes everyone again??
